Improving Maths in Key Stages 2 & 3

16:00–17:30 on 30 November 2017

Date:  Thursday 30th November 2017

Time:  4pm until 5.30pm

Venue:  Hungerhill School, Doncaster

Peter Henderson, EEF Project Manager, will be leading this informative FREE session.

Keeping up to date with new evidence and the latest research guidance documents enhances our professional learning, and enables schools to respond to recommendations and ultimately improve outcomes.

The guidance document offers eight practical, evidence-based recommendations—that are relevant to all pupils— but particularly to those struggling with their mathematics. To develop the recommendations, EEF reviewed the best available international research and consulted experts, teachers, and academics to arrive at key principles for effective teaching. This briefing session will help schools to understanding how to best use the guidance document and access further support. It is an opportunity not to be missed!

This session is suitable for Headteachers, Senior Leaders, Mathematics Subject Leaders and TLR Holders of Mathematics.
